The website hosts a growing number of pieces made available from the archive from 1940 to today, first published in print and now available digitally.
Meanjin also makes our archive available as PDF scanned spreads for academic and research purposes via InfoRMIT. All creative works, articles and reviews converted to electronic format are correctly attributed and appear as published. Copyright remains with the authors, and this work cannot be republished without authorial permission.
Meanjin will honour any requests to withdraw material from electronic publication. If any author does not wish their work to appear in this format, we ask that they contact us immediately and their material will be withdrawn.
Meanjin holds the copyright to all Meanjin covers since 1940. These can be licensed for reproduction with full attribution by contacting meanjin@qut.edu.au
Payment
Meanjin has a strong history of paying competitive rates and regularly benchmarks with colleagues and peak bodies. As part of the journal’s relocation to QUT, new payment rates for prose have been benchmarked to MEAA rates ($1.12/word). All Meanjin articles originally published in print editions may be published on this website. For republication in other print and online publications, please contact the author and editor.
