Through my window I see the sun sinking in the west.
A gentle breeze is making the leaves on the trees dance.
They move and sway back and forth, grey clouds roll up
over the horizon, they are rain clouds, I can smell the rain.
The breeze that’s blowing is cooling me after the day’s heat.
Crickets and locusts start to sing their songs of contentment.
As twilight covers the skyline, all I can hear is the
crickets and night critters, singing the land! Making me
feel whole again, lifting my Koori spirit way up HIGH!
