MEANJIN: There’s a power in your writing that makes us stop—and it doesn’t just make us stop to listen to you, it also makes us aware of our breath, our posture, our bodies, our messiness, our accountability, our agency. When you’re writing, and thinking about us as readers, are you also consciously rewriting our bodies as well as your own?
