Vladimir Koncar: Picking Teeth is Easier Than Picking the Right Type
JA
March 03
It’s been a while since I indulged in my amateur fixation with typography so I was pretty rapt when I stumbled across these images by Croatian designer Vladimir Koncar. He’s doing a personal type diary on his Behance page under the following basic premise:
I collect various objects and from them I form the letters. With those letters I write my thoughts down and they are a symbolic link between the font and the reflections
His project is not without a sense of humour – the objects used so far include rotten apples, toothpicks, condoms, hair, paper clips, tea bags and raw meat.

How hideous-kinky is that hair font?Positively pubic....
Picking a typeface is often best done instinctively. I spent over a month researching before choosing our corporate font at work, Decennie Express. It was love at first sight. http://jyanet.com/fonts/font133.htm

That description I think pretty much sums it up! Try not to wonder where he got the hair from...
