Torpedo goes up on Kindle
JA
February 11
Chris Flynn's brilliant journal, Torpedo (issues 1 to 5) is now available on the Amazon Kindle store. It's the first Australian journal to be available in this format - have a browse of the Amazon store here. The Kindle versions are limited to the short stories and interviews (no illustration or comics) but Chris has all back issues of Torpedo available on the FvM store for $5-$7 and they're selling out fast.
Apparently, If you don't own a Kindle, you can also download the free Kindle app for your iphone from the app store or the Kindle for PC app from the Amazon site. Mac and Blackberry versions are to follow shortly from Amazon.
Chris has also announced that from issue 7 onwards, 'Torpedo will not continue in print format but will appear as a Kindle ebook... Once Apple get their act together and launch the ibook store later this year, we'll convert Torpedo to that format too, so hopefully full graphics and colour will then be possible.'
