If you didn't get to the Slam Rally in town last Tuesday, it's well worth listening to Paul Kelly and Rick Dempster's speech about the importance of small venues not just to the music scene, but to the community.
Which leads, me, inevitably, to posting this iconic Melbourne music moment: Bon Scott in the back of the ute driving up Swanston Street singing 'It's a Long Way to the Top'.
