Yes it’s that time of year again and here at Meanjin we would like nothing more than to thank all of our loyal subscribers with a massive, rollicking, turkey-sized, fully basted giveaway!
WIN A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE MALTHOUSE THEATRE’S 2010 SEASON
First up, there’s a fantastic subscription for two for the Malthouse Threatre's 2010 season, valued at $437.00. You and your chosen other will be given tickets to the full gamut of Malthouse’s curtain raiser productions next year. The winner will also receive a 10% at the bar and café as well as at the Malthouse bookshop. Here are the shows:
Furious Mattress by Melissa Reeves, Chunky Move’s Mortal Engine, Wrong Skin – presented in collaboration with the Adelaide Festival, Sydney Opera House and Darwin Festival. My Stories Your Emails – performed by Ursula Martinez, Dario Fo’s Elizabeth, a Malthouse Theatre and Arena Theatre Company commission Moth and to close the Season Bertolt Brecht & Kurt Weill’s The Threepenny Opera in collaboration with Victorian Opera.
Note: You must redeem your subscription by January 31 2010 and performances are subject to availability. Once a subscription has been allocated to desired performances, ticket exchanges will incur a fee.

WIN A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE VICTORIAN OPERA’S 2010 SEASON
Next up is another great subscription for two for the Victorian Opera's 2010 season, which features an exciting new collaboration with the Malthouse Theatre, The Threepenny Opera starring Eddie Perfect as Mack the Knife, introduces ballet star Steven Heathcote directing Handel’s Julius Caesar, Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust, a Double Bill of The Bear/Angélique, Britten’s spooky The Turn of the Screw, as well as two brand new Australian commissions, The Parrot Factory and The Cockatoos, based on a Patrick White short story.

Just email competitions@victorianopera.com.au with your name (this must be the same name that your subscription is under) and contact number with ‘Meanjin’ in the subject line.
