Bat-cities on Pluto, aliens at Angkor Wat, rocket trains suspended between magnetised cobalt rails – all in a few decades work for sci-fi magazine Amazing Stories. The below images are illustrations and back cover art from the 30s, 40s and early 50s, which featured work by Leo Morey, Henry Kroeger, H. W. McCauley, Robert Fuqua, William Juhre, Julian Krupa, Howard Duflin, Frank R. Paul, J. Allen St John, Arnold Kahn, Raymond Naylor, James Settles and Lawrence Sterne Stevens.
