Well, intrepid wordsmiths, it’s been all of two months and my how we have struggled, pencils in hand, with that deceptively simple white grid and those cunning, canny clues. But no more – David Astle, whose mind is no doubt as shifty and colourful as the side of the Rubik’s Cube, has kindly provided the answers to his crossword challenge.
