Editing Others

March 24
Hopefully you’ve all read Mandy Brett’s piece Stet By Me and enjoyed it as much as I did (I doubt you could have enjoyed it more than me).
I’d love to hear about any wonderful experiences you’ve had as a writer being edited. Or as an editor with a writer? Or (and I KNOW you have stories here) any terrible experiences you’d like to share? No names please! I’m much too new to get sued yet. Use the comments to share your stories!
To start you off, I’ve linked to a very funny article about Neil Strauss’s experiences with copyeditors at the New York Times.
