Congratulations to Nam Le on his win last night at the NSW Premier's Literary Awards. You can find Meanjin's recent interview with Nam - run in our March edition - here.
Meanjin would like to congratulate Joan London on winning the Christina Stead prize for fiction at the NSW Premier's Literary Awards. And to muse, once again, on the failure of the Miles Franklin Judges to short list her excellent novel, The Good Parent, or, indeed any novels by women. The winner of that award will be announced in June 19.
