For those of you lucky enough to be going to the Ubud Writers' Festival, I thought I should alert you to an editing course for writers, which is being run by two Sydney editors, Shelly Kenigsberg (declaration of interest - Shelley is a mate of mine from my Sydney days) and Selena Hanet-Hutchins. It's being held in the days after the festival. Both editors have worked across multiple genres. The emphasis of the course is in editing and finessing manuscripts, and generally getting them into a shape good enough to approach a publisher.
