Are drugs are better than Monopoly? We would not know.
April 27
Just before Christmas we held a Meanjin/Overland soccer match. Staff from Overland were heard to mock staff from Meanjin for playing Monoploy. But I think if you watch this Lou Reed video you will understand that the only other option for young people today would be to take drugs and we, at Meanjin, do not condone drugs. (Oh, and have I mentioned that if you subscribe to Meanjin and Overland together for 2009 you get a 15% discount - that makes it only $110.)

If I can't afford to buy both magazines, how should I decide between them? The irony of Monopoly and Jeff's suggestion that buying the magazines supports 'alternative literary culture' did not pass by entirely unnoticed. The answer to your question is yes.
