To celebrate our 70th birthday, Meanjin, along with MUP and the University of Melbourne, would like to invite you to a special commemorative lecture, ‘A Cork upon the Ocean: Meanjin and the Changing Context, 1940-2010’, to be given by former Meanjin editor Jim Davidson. Come along as we pay tribute to the highs, lows, risks and small victories of literary culture in Australia, and consider how little things can lead to big change in an unpredictable world.
When: Tues, 23 Nov 2010, 5.30pm (for 6pm start) – 7pm.
