Copyright and payment
The copyright of each piece published in Meanjin belongs to the author, copyright of the collection belongs to Meanjin.
Meanjin has converted the full backfile of Meanjin (1940– ) into scanned pages that can be accessed via the digital publishing house Informit. All creative works, articles and reviews converted to electronic format will be correctly attributed and will appear as published. Copyright will remain with the authors, and the material cannot be further republished without authorial permission. Meanjin will honour any requests to withdraw material from electronic publication. If any author does not wish their work to appear in this format, they should contact us immediately and their material will be withdrawn.
All Meanjin articles will now be considered for publication on this website. Republication in other print and online publications is permitted on request to author and editor. Minimum payment to contributors is $50 a printed page and will include a 5% supplement to provide in advance for copyright entitlements that contributions may attract through the Copyright Agency Limited (CAL).
